“I’ve been in love with resale stores since I began school at Morehouse College in 2016. The first time I walked into one, I was in disbelief. To me, clothing is art. There were so many brands, collaborations, and designs from all different eras that I had never seen before. Trying on the clothes and putting together different outfits made me feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin. It opened my eyes to all of the ways that I could build my own personal brand and stand out just through clothing. I believe that every person on this earth has something special about them that no one else has. 86 Hills is the place to help you find what that special thing is.”

86 Hills is a home to many that has always celebrated culture, self expression, family, and love. Everyone that has visited our home has become a better version of themselves and it wouldn’t be possible without my great grandparents, William and Bessie Carter.
Anyone that has been around William and Bessie has developed a greater sense of pride in their uniqueness. We believe resale stores share that same uniqueness — from the products, to the design of the store, to the people that run it, and the people that support it. Individuality and limitless expression are at the core of every resale store and is also at the heart of 86 Hills.
